In this hands-on position, you will help organise, sort, and pack food donations, ensuring that they are ready for distribution to families and individuals in our community.
Driver Volunteer
As a Volunteer Driver at The Big Food Project, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that food gets to those who need it most. You’ll be an essential part of our transportation team, assisting with loading and unloading food. Your support helps ensure that no one in the community goes hungry.
Micro-Volunteering Opportunities
Micro-volunteering involves small, flexible tasks that can be completed in short bursts of time, allowing individuals to contribute to a cause without a long-term commitment.
Volunteer Fundraiser
As a Volunteer Fundraiser, you will help us raise vital funds to support our mission of providing food to those in need. You’ll assist with organising fundraising or sponsor events like bake sales or sport challenges etc., reaching out to potential supporters, and promoting campaigns to raise awareness and financial support for the The Big Food Project.
Volunteer Gleaner
As a Volunteer Gleaner, you will help collect surplus produce from local farms that would otherwise go to waste. Your efforts will directly contribute to providing fresh, nutritious food for those in need in our community.
Leaflet Dropper
As a Volunteer Leaflet Dropper, you will help spread awareness about our mission and services by distributing informational leaflets throughout the community. Your efforts will help us connect with individuals and families who may need support and let them know about the resources we provide.
